Art Combines Bob’s Burgers and The Last of Us

Bob’s Burgers and The Last of Us have been mashed together by a dedicated fan.
The major visual references are taken from the 2022 PlayStation 5 version of the 2013 game.
There are several online homages to The Last of Us, but this one takes a different approach.

Naughty Dog has restored the original game for the PlayStation 4 and announced that a sequel would be launched in the spring of 2020.
In spite of the fact that the second game was met with considerable criticism from players, it had already sold over 10 million copies throughout the world by June of the same year.
The Last of Us Part 1 for the PlayStation 5 was announced in the spring of 2021, and it was published in September of 2022.
The artwork was based on the cover of that particular game edition.

The Belcher family, headed by patriarch Bob Belcher, restaurateur, and main character on the Fox animated series Bob’s Burgers since its 2011 premiere.
The Bob’s Burgers Movie, a feature-length adaptation, was released in May 2022 to mostly good reviews but lackluster box office results.
As of this writing, a 14th season has not been renewed for the program, which just finished its 13th.
It seems sense that Tina would stand in for Ellie in fan art because she is a fan favorite among the various Bob’s Burgers characters.

Naughty Dog and Sony are committed to continuing the franchise in light of its commercial success.
There has been a new leak suggesting that a third The Last of Us game is in the works, but the studio is staying mum on the subject.
Live-action HBO series starring Pedro Pascal (Narcos, The Mandalorian) is due to premiere this month, and early reviews have been overwhelmingly positive.
Despite this, it’s highly unlikely that the franchise would ever collaborate with Bob’s Burgers beyond artwork like this.
