Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Dev Discusses the Possibility of Changing TTK

A new video summarizes conversations between popular Call of Duty: Warzone 2 content makers and developers Infinity Ward and Raven Software prior to Season 2’s release, suggesting that the game’s TTK may be altered in some way.
Recent rumors suggest a new mainstream Call of Duty game might arrive in 2023, despite Warzone 2 continuing to earn highly mixed reviews from many gamers.

WhosImmortal, a YouTube producer known for his Call of Duty videos, recently posted a new video in which he discussed his conversations with Warzone 2’s creators Infinity Ward and Raven Software in anticipation of the release of Season 2 of the game.
WhosImmortal stated that the devs were aware of the complaints from certain players concerning the speed at which players may take down opponents, making the quick TTK in Warzone 2 a prominent point of discussion during this conference.
The developers at Infinity Ward and Raven Software say in the video that the current TTK is in a decent spot, but emphasize that it is not final.

While the possibility of a TTK overhaul may thrill some free-to-play shooter enthusiasts, the video makes clear that any modifications would have to be balanced against the satisfaction of the game’s existing player base.
Proponents of a higher TTK may be found among the players that compete in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 tournaments and other forms of high-level play, but the creators point out that this would have a disproportionately detrimental influence on Warzone 2’s primarily casual player base.
Thus, while tweaks to TTK are being considered, they may not be as significant as some gamers want.

Complaints regarding Call of Duty: Warzone 2’s TTK, like many other concerns surrounding the game, are unlikely to go away very soon.
At least the sea lion on Ashika Island may be fed by players who are stressed out by the game’s low TTK.
