Fallout 76 Launches Double XP Event

Bethesda periodically hosts double experience events as part of their commitment to constantly updating Fallout 76.
There have been several celebrations of Fallout’s 25th anniversary recently, including the free trial of Fallout 76 and a recent double XP promotion to entice inactive players to come back to the role-playing game.

The creators of Fallout 76 have announced that the next Double experience event will occur this weekend. The last one was held in conjunction with the game’s 25th anniversary.
The weekend double XP promotion is nothing new, and many other games outside Fallout 76 have adopted it, including the Call of Duty series, Overwatch 2, Red Dead Online, and Battlefield 2042.

During the weekend, players in Fallout 76 will be able to take advantage of double XP and other bonuses, as revealed by the official Fallout Twitter account.
Until January 17 at 12:00 p.m. eastern, players in Fallout 76 will not only receive a double XP boost, but also a double mutation bonus in Daily Ops, and more money than normal.
This weekend, players may take advantage of a new multiplier dubbed Gold Rush, which will double the gold they earn from Gold Press Machines in Fallout 76, thereby increasing their in-game currency and increasing their ability to spend said currency.

Unlike other games that have suddenly announced double experience events, Fallout 76 began teasing the weekend celebrations on January 12.
Fans who felt misled by the online Fallout title when it premiered as a live service title have now returned to give it another go with events like Expeditions: The Pitt, Invaders From Beyond, and the aforementioned Fallout 25th anniversary.
The 25th anniversary of the Fallout franchise was celebrated in February 2022 with a free update to Fallout 76, which brought back those players who had left after the game’s earlier expansions.

While the double XP in Fallout 76 isn’t as big of a draw as the stuff included in past patches, it might be enough to tempt some players who haven’t reached level 50 yet to come on and play.
Players that are interested in exploring the game’s endgame material before the next major patch release may take advantage of the double XP weekend to level up quickly.
