Hogwarts Legacy Achieves Another Sales Milestone, Surpasses Elden Ring

Another fantastic sales milestone has been reached by Hogwarts Legacy, as it has now outsold Elden Ring in the UK.
After its release in February, critics praised Hogwarts Legacy, with many praising the game’s attention to detail with regards to the castle.

Positive reviews were matched by strong sales: 12 million copies of Hogwarts Legacy were purchased in only the first two weeks after its release.
Since its debut, Hogwarts Legacy has consistently been towards the top of Steam’s sales rankings, and it even broke the record for the largest launch of a WB Games product.
Hogwarts Legacy has officially eclipsed one of 2022’s best-selling titles, marking another another impressive sales milestone for the game.

With the upcoming release of Hogwarts Legacy on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, its cumulative sales statistics are certain to skyrocket by 2023’s end.
Originally scheduled for release in April, Hogwarts Legacy for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has been pushed back to May 5 as the developer works to ensure the greatest possible experience on these systems.

The same study predicts that by the time digital data arrives later in the week, sales of Hogwarts Legacy will have eclipsed those of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in the United Kingdom.
The final sales tally, and whether or not it overtakes Modern Warfare 2, should be intriguing to observe.

Despite a 31% decline in sales from the previous week, Hogwarts Legacy was the best-selling game in the UK that week.
The leaderboard was rounded out by the aforementioned Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Metroid Prime Remastered, with FIFA 23 coming in at number two.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the last entry on the list, which also includes fan-favorites like God of War Ragnarok and Grand Theft Auto 5.
