Cyberpunk 2077 achieved a new sales milestone after the Netflix adaptation of Edgerunners gained attention, suggesting that the game still had potential despite its rocky launch.
CP2077 fought its way back to prominence with a slew new crossover outfits and weaponry, among other additions, all of which helped pave the road for the eventual release of the substantial Phantom Liberty DLC.
Even while a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 has been spoken about for some time now, it’s clear that CD Projekt Red still has enormous intentions for its first major step into science fiction.
Whether Acrobatic Internal 2’s find is a real future questline, a hidden WIP entry contributed by an unusual mod, or just a leaked batch of incomplete material, taking advantage of Edgerunners once again may be fruitful once the DLC is released.
More Edgerunners content isn’t the key selling point of the forthcoming DLC.
Although Idris Elba’s portrayal of New United States agent Solomon Reed in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty may pique more player interest, his performance as a villain in the game has the potential to turn off many gamers.
Doing more with Edgerunners resources may be fruitful, since CD Projekt Red has stated that the DLC would also offer a large amount of ancillary content.
